An Interlude To Remember

Went on a picnic...yesterday afternoon-evening with two friends. We feasted on a nice
assortment of goodies...and conversed about subjects wide and deep. It was the beauty
of the place where we were...the lightness of the air...the beauty of the painter's light for that time of the day and place...and the water and mountain scene before us
...along with the company...that helped to make this...an interlude to remember.
As I remarked when we turned homewards...we had not just attended some dramatic event
...but we all had the feeling that we had experienced...one of those "fabric of life"
times...you remember...long after it's gone...............Quester.
